Financial Disclaimer

CreditLoanCalculator.com publishes free calculators and educational guides covering loans, investments, insurance, retirement and tax. This page explains exactly what our tools are — and what they are not — so you can use them responsibly.

1. Educational use only

Every calculator and article on this site is provided strictly for general informational and educational purposes. The outputs are mathematical estimates based on (a) the inputs you provide and (b) the assumptions disclosed on each page. They are intended to help you understand a financial concept or compare scenarios — not to determine the final figure on a contract, policy, tax return or loan agreement.

2. No financial, tax, investment, legal or insurance advice

Nothing on CreditLoanCalculator.com constitutes advice of any kind. Specifically, we do not provide:

  • Personalised financial planning advice
  • Investment recommendations or securities analysis
  • Tax filing, tax planning or tax-position advice
  • Insurance product recommendations or suitability assessments
  • Legal opinions on contracts, regulations or compliance
  • Loan eligibility decisions or credit underwriting

Always consult a qualified, licensed professional in your jurisdiction — a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Accountant, tax attorney, SEBI-registered Investment Adviser, IRDAI-licensed insurance broker, CPA, IFA or solicitor — before acting on any number produced by this site.

3. Independent calculations

Our calculators are independent implementations of publicly available formulas. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any bank, insurer, asset-management company, broker, regulator, government department or scheme operator. Brand names (such as LIC, SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Bajaj Allianz, Tata AIA, Max Life, Vanguard, Fidelity) appear only to identify the product being modelled.

For any binding figure — premium quotes, loan EMIs, policy maturity, PF/NPS balances, tax liability — verify directly with the official provider, regulator or your own qualified adviser. If the provider's number differs from ours, theirs is authoritative.

4. Accuracy & limitations

We work hard to keep formulas and statutory rates current — see How We Test Calculator Accuracy and How We Verify Formulas. Despite this, calculators have inherent limitations:

  • Statutory rates, tax brackets and product features change frequently and may not be reflected immediately.
  • Real-world products include fees, charges, surrender penalties, GST, TDS and bonuses that a generic calculator cannot fully capture.
  • Future-value outputs (SIP, retirement, FIRE) assume a constant return rate — actual returns vary year to year.
  • Currency, locale and rounding conventions can cause small differences against provider tools.

5. User responsibility

You are solely responsible for the financial decisions you make. By using this site you acknowledge that:

  • You will not rely on a calculator result as the sole basis for a financial decision.
  • You will verify any figure that matters with the official provider or a licensed professional.
  • You will read the assumptions disclosed on each calculator page before interpreting its output.
  • CreditLoanCalculator.com, its authors, reviewers and operators are not liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from your use of, or reliance on, the calculators or content.

6. Jurisdictional scope

Our calculators target users in India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. Tax, retirement and insurance rules differ significantly between these jurisdictions; always use the calculator labelled for your country and confirm the applicable rules with a local adviser.
