Formula
Final Grade = Σ (Score_i × Weight_i ÷ 100), where Σ Weight_i = 100. Letter cutoffs (typical): 90+ A · 80–89 B · 70–79 C · 60–69 D · <60 F.
How it works
Course grades are usually a weighted blend of homework, midterms, and final exams. This calculator applies the published weight to each component score so you see exactly where you stand.
Example
Example: Assignment 85 (40%), midterm 78 (30%), final 92 (30%) → 85×0.40 + 78×0.30 + 92×0.30 = 34 + 23.4 + 27.6 = 85%. Letter B (within 80–89).
